Young love. How sweet. He even changed his status on FB.
Smart too. School ends in 4 weeks and they wont be going to the same school next year. So a short first relationship is a good thing.
I dont think I'm ready for this.

Aww how sweet! Will he see her over the summer? If they don't break up before then.
I dont know.
I have made myself a promise that I will not push one way or another with my kids and their relationships, unless I see blatant harm being done. If he wants to see her and take her out he will have to work to earn the money and of course make sure I can drive them. Because he cant drive himself yet.

He is generally a happy go lucky kind of guy. So probably wont be a big deal.
I may not always be right--but I am NEVER wrong.
Lily - one thing I would emphasize if I were there. If these two get "intimate" (however you define that) and if anything goes wrong, society punishes the male. Pretty much absolutely. If they're alone, she can later say he did something wrong to her, and he'll have no good defense. If he gets her pregnant, it's 100% not-his-call if she wants to carry to term but 50% his responsibility if she decides to. And heaven help him if their ages put him on the wrong side of the statutory rape laws.
Bottom line - if anything goes wrong, he loses.
I'm not implicating this particular girl as such; I'd just want to know that if I were 14.

Bears are lovely creatures that often hibernate and are, for the most part, non-violent. However, when poked, bears can become quite angry. As such, it's always best to not poke the bear.
Sorry, duplicate post
While you're speaking with him about "protections", also get him a box of "VCF"
which will be with the condoms in every drug store.
VCF (Vaginal Contraceptive Film) can be safely kept in a wallet (unlike condoms) and provides a second barrier method of contraception that (also unlike condoms) won't break.
